Hello, Chris here. In our workshop, wood spins on the lathe, shavings scatter, and the scent of freshly cut timber fills the air. Every piece reveals hidden beauty as skill and care meet the natural character of the wood.
Yet a turning only truly comes to life when it’s shared. That belief led us to create fairytalewood.com—not just as a shop, but as a place to present our work with the same attention to detail we bring to the lathe.
From the beginning, we set out to avoid the ordinary. Each piece we craft carries its own story, and we wanted the website to reflect that same individuality. Instead of a generic online store, we built a space where visitors can easily find the right turning to match their home, personality, and story.
Over the past three months, we designed and developed the site ourselves. We focused on usability, security, and efficiency while still creating an atmosphere that feels special. From coding in WordPress and CSS to resolving plugin conflicts, every challenge became part of the process. Like shaping wood, the site gradually revealed its form, and we’re proud of the result.
We know no project is ever perfect at launch. If you notice something we can improve, please let us know through our contact form. Because we built the site ourselves, we can act on feedback quickly and refine the experience continuously.
After the Launch it is Over to you
We invite you to explore Fairytale Wood, discover our handmade treasures, and see the care and craftsmanship behind every piece. We suggest you browse our shop, or go to our main page to find out more.
Now that the site is ready, it’s time to return to the lathe—the place where it all begins.
